Introduction to class work covered

At times teachers do not keep a class for the next academic year or for the entire junior cert cycle.  Therefore it is important to maintain a base of information for each teacher to see what information was covered in the previous academic year.  This ensures continuity and ease of transition.  If a teacher 'inherits' a group from a colleague it is easier to have a reference point which can be checked to ensure the syllabus is covered in the three years.
